Homicide: Party of Twelve is a gripping Crime Thriller novel with a very clever and intricately woven storyline. The book starts with a deal gone wrong which results in a gripping gang war. Stuck in the middle is a hardworking worker of the restaurant Chez Allen – Frankie. When Frankie’s boss dies in a gang shooting, Frankie becomes the new manager. What happens when the New Jersey police sniffs something fishy in these cases and works hard to catch their culprit? Frankie is smack in the middle of this war and he isn’t even sure if he will make it out alive.

This was a book which was really engrossing and an amazing thriller. The language was vivid and fluid. The book had its fair share of plot twists which kept it juicy throughout. The mangled web of deceit and conspiracies is sure to keep the readers bouncing on the edge of their seats.

The story line and the plot was amazing! This book takes the reader on one hell of a ride and is a beautifully crafted tale of suspense, thrill and a bit of gore. The writing style of the author is compelling yet easy to comprehend. The sentence formation is flawless and the words of the author brought the story to life.

The story was full of twists and turns and the pace was really fast. Whilst reading the book, more than once, I found myself comparing this book to the books by James Patterson. It was this good! The storyline kept the book interesting and the author painted a very vivid picture of his words. There wasn’t a single moment where the book lost its thrill.

The characters were amazingly penned and seemed real. The cultural and linguistic diversity which comes together in this novel is truly captivating. I liked the play of language and the dialogues were impact inducing and had that punch to it. The entire plot is cleverly woven and the climax of the story leaves the readers shook.

I would recommend this book to all the Thriller buffs because if you haven’t read this, you are missing out on a lot. Also, I hope someone signs up this book to become a TV Series because I am sure it will be a great addition to Netflix’s stock.
Until the next time! Adios Amigos!
