Land Of Madness is a story set in the Kingdom of Drendil which is plagued by something called ‘Madness’. It is a result of Dark Magic & was infested in the kingdom, eons back. The Shadow Knight, a powerful foe to the Drendil people is on the rise & his sole motive is to drive the world into chaos.

Michael, our protagonist, has been having premonitions in the form of dreams about an impending war. After joining forces with a priest & a thief, Michael embarks on the quest to defend the world from the Shadow Knight & his army. His defeat could spell the end of humanity.

“Oh My God!” This is all I can say after reading this book. The author in this book has skillfully built a new world & dexterously brought all his characters to life. The story line was insanely compelling & I was sucked into the book even before I was through with the first paragraph. I absolutely adored how well the story was woven with just a tinge of magic.

Honestly, I couldn’t stop reading the book once I started it. The narration was beyond perfect and the author painted a vivid image of all the scenes. It was as if I was practically living the story. The language was reader friendly and easily comprehensive. The magic wielding scenes were well written and seemed real.

All the characters were penned to absolute perfection. The author brought together a plethora of distinct characters & did justice to all of them. I particularly liked how the author showed different scenes, happening at different location, simultaneously. It helped me as a reader to understand the story from different angles. The climax left me craving for more & now, I can’t wait to start the next book in the series, “Downfall.”

In a nutshell, I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it to people who are looking for an amazing Fantasy read.
