Pandora’s Gardener is a well penned Action and Adventure Fiction novel with a really clever and fast paced story line. It outlines the story of a gardener John who reluctantly gets wrapped up in a series of sinister plots by mega villains who seek to threaten world security. A young gardener stuck in a war between two factions? What would become of him? Read Pandora’s Gardener to find out.
The basic plot of the book was cleverly woven. The story was really fast paced and it felt as if the main characters were always on the go. The story line reminded me a bit of James Bond’s classic escapades. There were some instances in the story that were a little heavy but as the story progresses, I found it really captivating and then, there came a point when I didn’t really wish to put the book down even for a minute. The only complaint I have is that the book was way too long.
The major theme of the book was the generic good guys who wish to annihilate the threats versus the bad guys who plot schemes which threaten world security for political power. The way the story has been threaded offers a really fresh and interesting perspective on an otherwise cliched plot. The action sequences were par level and the words of the author made me feel as if I was there present in the novel itself. The punches of humor kept the book interesting.
The author also introduced a lot of different characters in the book which could be confusing for some readers. However, he did so with such prowess that it wasn’t even the slightest bit off putting. The world building was commendable. The author painted the scenes with his words. The language of the author was comprehensive and smooth. The book, in its entire course, kept me bouncing on the edge of my seat anticipating what might happen next.
Further, the story had a very strong narration and the characters kept building and developing throughout the course of the book. They weren’t stagnant and that is the best part about the book. Further, the characters were vivid and practically came to life in front of my eyes.
I would recommend this book to all the people who wish to read a thriller that is engaging.
