‘She’s With Me’ is book 1 in ‘With Me’ series by the Wattpad sensation Jessica Cunsolo. I remember reading this book when it was on Wattpad, and then when it was finally published, I was so excited to read the revised version.

Sure, it’s a bit of a cliché but once in a while, we all need a little dose of cliché, don’t we? The book borders on being a YA Mystery/Thriller. The thrill was a constant companion of mine while reading. The diction was enthralling and the premise was enough to tell me that I am going to absolutely love the characters in this book and when I was a 16-year-old girl obsessed with high-school love stories, I did adore this book to bits. However, now that I am practically an adult and I went back to this book to compose a proper professional review for it, I felt that my younger self was a little too lenient in the star rating.

She’s With Me is a mixture of thrill, mystery, nail-biting suspense, dark past and a tinge of humor. The characters are skillfully crafted and bear close semblance to reality. Well, as close as they can get in Fiction. Aiden and Amelia make the perfect power-couple and they have sizzling chemistry which keeps blazing throughout the course of the book. The slow burn was remarkable. If you are a fan of slow burn, this book will be right up your alley.

But, this book is not for everyone. Sure, it is a pretty amazing book for Wattpad but, if you are looking for some Spanish Love Deception or The Love Hypothesis vibe, this book isn’t where you’ll find it. It is tailored to suit the YA audience and ONLY the YA audience. The underlying tone of the novel was pretty juvenile, what with the prank wars and everything so, if you’re going into this story for the plot, you might end up a tad disappointed. However, the Romance aspect was commendable and there are certain scenes I think I’ll be re-reading every time I want to find comfort in familiar words.

However, if you’re looking for some light reading, this book might be it for you.
