“You either hate him with all your might,
Or you fall for him at the very first sight.”

Xavier Arquette is the bad boy and the brooding heartthrob of Los Carlos. He is bad news. He knows this, his teachers know this and his friends know this. Alana Lancaster, the devil’s childhood sweetheart is back after 6 years and Xavier’s feelings have reemerged. After all, they frequently say that you always have that thing for your first love.

Alana Lancaster is a good girl and the complete opposite of Xavier Arquette. She can be the most oblivious person on the planet. When she returns back to her birthplace after 6 long years, she expects to endure her senior year without any drama. Little does she know that Xavier is her personal storm who will go to any limits just to have her by his side.

Silhouette is one of the best books I have come across on Wattpad. It has a fantastic plot and a very gripping story narration. The characters are very well written and it is their flaws make them worth remembering and loving.

Xavier is our bad boy but, not the distant and introvert guy. Rather, he is quite humorous. But he has his moments when he is serious. Xavier is depicted not just as a teenager. But as a man who respects women and who is highly misunderstood due to his reputation. For the people who don’t know him, he is just a Silhouette, and hence, the title. The personality of Xavier made me love him more than his deviously charming looks (looks are a plus point though).

Alana Lancaster was a really great character too. Her obliviousness is entertaining (yet frustrating). Also, her patience is commendable. She did not exactly judge Xavier based on his mere looks but took the chance to know him better and then formulate her views.

The book contains just the right amount of swoon, backstory, emotions, romance, and heartbreak. Reading the book, you can’t help but fall in love with the characters as they discover themselves in the maze of life. The emotional parts of the book are so well versed that you are literally hit with the flood of emotions and sincerity.

The hard work and creativity of the author can practically be seen reflecting in the novel. Fifty-Eight chapters plus one Epilogue, yet there was not a single moment in the book where I regretted picking it up. The work the author put into her book is worth praising.

I would really love this book to be published. Trust me, I would be one of the first persons to purchase the copy. Lastly, I would recommend this book to everyone who is looking for something original and entertaining. I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed in the book.

With that note, download the Wattpad app which is available on iOs Windows and Android too. There are many books which are worth reading there. For those who already have an account on Wattpad, don’t forget to add Silhouette to your reading list.

Until the next time!
