What better way to start your Spooktober than a good thriller which is sure to keep your nerves tingling in anticipation.
Junction is a book which flawlessly outlines a story of body swap of two females who were the victims of a bloody car crash. What happens when they both wake up in the body of each other and one of them doesn’t wish to go back to her own life?
Junction: Time’s Ticking is a piercing and riveting thriller. With twists and turns adorning every nook and corner of this book, I find it plausible to admit that it was hard to put this book down. There were numerous heart pounding twists and surprises that the book kept me guessing till the very end. Most of the twists were sharp enough to throw me off the groove and some even had my eyes bulging right out of their sockets.
A dazzling level of plotting mastery is shown by the author. The way she has intricately woven the story with a tinge of supernatural in it, is commendable. The language was clever and comprehensive. The flow of the story was smooth as velvet and in it’s entire 254 pages, the book didn’t even hit a single snag. It just whizzed past.
The pace of the book was relatively slow in comparison to all the other thrillers that I’ve read. Yet, I wouldn’t have had it any other way. The gradual unraveling of the secrets and mysteries tangled in the book was what made it such a good read for me.
The author binds together a thrilling story of love and the desperate longing for a child. She teaches the reader that no one has a perfect life and hence, we need learn to make do with the cards dealt to us. After all, fate works in a peculiar way.
The characters were articulately penned and they practically came to life right in front of my eyes. They were perfectly flawed and that is what made them real.
The author has painted a very vivid picture of the world she wants her readers to be a part of. She takes us on a journey of tears, laughter, swoon and anger. But above it all, she take us on a journey which we are bound to cherish for the rest of our lives.
I cannot wait for sequel of this amazing Thriller novel which comes out in March 2021!
